Where to Park Near Rexall Place
If you plan on driving to the 2009 Tim Hortons Roar of the Rings, ample parking is available at Rexall Place and the Northlands grounds. All parking may be purchased through Ticketmaster.
Pricing for parking for the entire event (Dec. 6-13, 2009) ranges from $90.00 to $100.00 and is outlined below:
- Rexall (Lot D as directed)
- Mt. Lawn (Lot E as directed)
- Northlands (Lots A, B, and C as directed)
Getting Around Edmonton
Edmonton is serviced by more than twenty-five national and international airlines: it’s a breeze to fly into Canada’s Festival City from any major Canadian city or U.S. hub. There are frequent flights to sunshine and European airports, too.

If you’re in your car, follow Highway 2 or the Yellowhead.
Once you’re here, you’ll find Edmonton’s streets easy to navigate, since our city is arranged in a grid system. Of course, you can always hail a taxi or—if you’re feeling decadent—a limousine to take you through town.
Edmonton’s public transit is also rapidly expanding, making it an increasingly viable eco-friendly option. There are also hundreds of kilometers of bicycle trails—both on roads shared with automobiles and in the pristine river valley—that permits you to experience the city from an utterly different perspective. Plus, the downtown and Old Strathcona are both ideally suited to exploration by foot.
Edmonton International Airport is served by more than 25 airlines, providing air services to all major Canadian cities, and ten major U.S. hubs, as well as seasonal charter services to Europe and sun destinations. The new Edmonton International Airport terminal building boasts modern facilities and services.
VIA Rail's internationally known transcontinental train, The Canadian, stops in Edmonton. Rail passengers can travel east to Saskatoon, Winnipeg or Toronto, or west to Jasper, Kamloops and Vancouver. Experience the romance of the rails and enjoy the exhilarating winter wonderland from Edmonton to Jasper on the Via Rail Snow Train to Jasper!
Greyhound Bus Lines provides excellent service to Edmonton from anywhere in North America. Red Arrow provides service to Calgary, Red Deer and Fort McMurray. And, Sundog Tours is providing a new daily service between Jasper and Edmonton with stops at both Edmonton International Airport and West Edmonton Mall.
Edmonton is situated on the Trans-Canada Yellowhead Highway, which provides access from Winnipeg through Edmonton to Prince Rupert and Vancouver. Highway 2 is the main highway from the United States through Calgary, Red Deer, Edmonton and Northern Alberta.
