November 25, 2008 - Edmonton, Alberta -- The Edmonton Host Committee for the 2009 Tim Hortons Roar of the Rings (Canadian Men's and Women's Curling Trials), along with World Champions Kevin Martin and Jennifer Jones announced today that full event ticket packages will be going on sale this weekend!

Full event ticket packages (includes all 18 draws) will go on sale this Saturday through Ticketmaster. As well, each package includes 2 tokens to the Labatt Patch, Official Souvenir Program and an Official Event Pin.

Jackie-Rae Greening, Chair of the 2009 Tim Hortons Roar of the Rings exclaims "we hosted the Tim Hortons Brier in 2005, the Ford World Curling Championship in 2007, however we expect this event to surpass these championships just because of what's at stake". And what is at stake is a chance to represent Canada on the greatest winter sports stage in the world in 2010!

Kevin Martin, Jennifer Jones, along with Glenn Howard are three teams that have already qualified for the Trials. The remaining 13 teams will be decided in the coming months. Kevin Martin explains "everything our team has done over the past three seasons has been with the goal of getting to the Tim Hortons Roar of the Rings; it is bar none the ultimate curling event".
