Vernon, November 24, 2008… The Host Committee of the 2008 Ford World Women’s Curling Championship today released a limited ticket offer designed specially for the Holidays and those looking for a stocking stuffer idea that delivers World class fun to the receiver.

“The committee has worked extremely hard to ensure that everyone has a ticket option that allows them the opportunity to experience this once in a lifetime World Class event coming to our region,” said Rob Pringle, Chair of the 2008 Ford World Women’s Curling Championship. “Ticket sales are the lifeblood of any event and creating ticket packages that offer something for everyone is our goal.” continued Pringle.

Whether you are a curling enthusiast or one of the 3.4 million arm chair curlers across the country or just looking for a unique stocking stuffer idea for someone on your list, this package gives you that opportunity. The Rock in your Socks promotion includes a pair of tickets to a whole day of curling action on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday for $49. It is available for sale through Ticketmaster, but only from November 24th – December 24th beginning at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 24th, 2007

The “Paint the Town’ crew will be on site at the Village Green Mall’s “Charity Shopping Night” with information on the new launch and a .special giveaway to the first 50 people to visit the booth . Fans can also enter to Win “Rocks in your Socks” raffle for Stocking Stuffer tickets packages and a stocking full of goodies.
