Benefits and Conditions of Volunteering

By applying to become a volunteer for the 2008 Strauss Canada Cup, you acknowledge and agree with the following:

  • A minimum of 20 hours of Volunteer Service (each shift is 4-5 hours long on average);
  • All accepted Volunteers are required to pay $50.00 for their Volunteer Rewards Package, payable to "2008 Strauss Canada Cup";
  • This payment will be collected at the first Volunteer Pep Rally;
  • Authorization to perform a background check (including a Criminal Check);
  • Photo Identification is required at the time of Volunteer accreditation. (photo is taken at the first Volunteer Pep Rally);

All accepted applicants will receive, as part of their Volunteer Rewards Package:

  • A Volunteer Jacket;
  • A Volunteer Pin;
  • Free pass for entry into Interior Savings Centre (standing room to watch the best in the world);
  • Free Entry into Keith’s Extra End Patch (Fun, Food and Entertainment!);
  • Two Volunteer Rally’s;
  • A post-event Volunteer Thank You Party;
  • Volunteer Lounge access while on shift, beverages and snacks are provided.
