Single draw tickets for the 2008 Tim Hortons Brier to be held March 8th- 16th at the MTS Centre will go on sale on Friday, February 15 at 10:00 a.m.
"As the start of the Brier fast approaches the sale of single draw tickets will make it possible for many new and first time curling fans to enjoy the 2008 Tim Hortons Brier," said Barry Greenberg, President. "A good selection of seats is still available and we hope to see as many people as possible join us to see the next Canadian Men’s Curling champion declared."
A single draw ticket, starting at $18.00, will also provide admission into the Keith's Brier Patch and the Purple Heart Lounge brought to you by Peller Estates Proprietor's Reserve. Both entertainment facilities are located in the Winnipeg Convention Centre and open at 11:00 a.m. daily. Each will feature curling coverage on big screen TV’s, a variety of food offerings, games and great entertainment. Some of the featured acts in the Keith’s Brier Patch include Trooper, Harlequin, Wonderland, Kenny Shields & Streetheart and the Road Hammers.
The Purple Heart Lounge brought to you by Peller Estates Proprietor’s Reserve is a 1,200 seat venue. “Up Close and Personal” interview segments from March 9th – 13th at 5:30 p.m. feature Manitoba’s Legends of Rock - our province’s past Brier winners. Entertainment in the Purple Heart Lounge features Marty Grambo, the Merv Mauthe Quartet, Comedians Mike Macdonald and Big Daddy Tazz, the Ray St Germain Show and Wailin Jailer.

The 2008 Tim Hortons Brier will be held at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, March 8 – 16, 2008. The theme is “Legends of Rock.” The Winnipeg Convention Centre is a short walk from the arena and will be home to the Keith’s Brier Patch and Purple Heart Lounge.
